Dr Robert Sanson

Dr Robert Sanson, BVSc, PhD, MANZCVS:  Robert is a Veterinary Epidemiologist who is an internationally recognised specialist in simulation modelling of pests and infectious diseases such as foot-and-mouth disease, and the building of national scale decision support systems for responding to transboundary infectious diseases and food safety issues. He worked with the British government during the height of the BSE epidemic, and has also provided consultancy services to the OIE and FAO, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency and the United States Department of Agriculture. He currently works for AsureQuality Limited, a New Zealand government owned company that specialises in Food Safety authentication and Biosecurity responses.
