Sonia Bradley

Global Food Safety Partnership, World Bank

Sonia Bradley is the Director and Principal of Collaborate Consulting, facilitating collaborations and public-private partnerships globally. Amongst other assignments, Sonia is currently Co-Lead of the Global Food Safety Partnership (GFSP), a global public-private partnership facilitated by the World Bank, focused on building food safety capacity in low and middle-income countries.

Sonia has over 25 years of experience in areas of food safety; nutrition and public health; government policy and regulation; analytical technology; international development; and recruitment advisory. Prior to establishing Collaborate Consulting, Sonia held positions within the Australian Government for 20 years, in both policy and regulation. Her last role was with Food Standards Australia New Zealand as Manager, International, at which time she was responsible for developing collaborative links with key partner organizations throughout the region; and directing a range of initiatives including the work of the APEC Food Safety Cooperation Forum on behalf of the Australian Co-Chair. 

Sonia has a Bachelor of Applied Science degree from the University of Canberra, a Masters degree in Science (Nutrition and Dietetics) from the University of Wollongong and a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Health from Curtin University.
